Tayitu cultural and Educational Centre awarded certification of appreciation and Recognition from various organization for its effort on sponsoring poetry events, workshops on poetry, acting, directing, film production and creative writing which is an important art form for understanding a culture and society. This form of art also help community to express opinions about current events, whether those events are cultural or political.  TCECT has expanded its reach beyond the US to Canada, Europe and Africa
